Mobile Republican Announces for Public Service Commission
(Mobile, Alabama) – Chip Brown, a Mobile Commercial Real Estate Broker and military veteran, has announced he is launching a Republican campaign for the Alabama Public Service Commission Place 2. The seat currently is held by Democrat Susan Parker.
“I am running for the Public Service Commission because it is time we gave the Public Service Commission back to the people of Alabama.” “During these tough economic times, the people of Alabama need a fiscally conservative Commissioner that will look at every decision and ask themselves what impact this will have on average Alabamians.”
“We need a Public Service Commissioner that isn’t afraid to fight against legislation that will have a negative impact on energy or telecommunications cost for the people of Alabama whether it be in Congress or the Alabama Legislature. ” “We must have a back to basics approach to the Public Service Commission and take a fresh look at everything from how Commission funds are being spent to looking at the ever enlarging size of the Commission staff.”
